Integrations & tools
An integration is one tool connected to another so they work together automatically, your booking page talking to your calendar, your chat feeding your inbox, your payments landing in your bank. A1 Digital sets up and manages all of them, so your online presence behaves like one joined-up system instead of ten apps you have to wrangle.
What connects
| Area | Connects to | Doc |
|---|---|---|
| Calendar | Google Calendar, Outlook | Online booking |
| Payments | Stripe and similar | Payments |
| Your branded inbox + newsletter signup | Branded email | |
| Chat & inbox | Live chat feeding one shared inbox | Live chat & inbox |
| Business Profile, Maps, Search | Google & local SEO | |
| Analytics | Privacy-friendly tracking + monthly reports | Analytics & reports |
| Reviews | Your Google profile + on-site widget | Content & reviews |
| Social | Scheduled posting to your profiles | Social media |
Why it’s handled for you
- No accounts to wrangle. We set up and connect the tools, you don’t manage logins, API keys or settings.
- One joined-up system. A booking creates a calendar event and a reminder; a chat becomes a saved lead; a payment notifies you and settles to your bank, automatically.
- No subscription pile-up. We use solid free or low-cost tools where we can, so you’re not paying for a stack of separate apps.
- It stays working. When a tool changes or an integration breaks, fixing it is our job, not yours.
How it works in practice
Customer books ──► Calendar event created ──► Reminder sent
Customer chats ──► Shared inbox + saved lead ──► You're alerted
Customer pays ──► You're notified ──► Money to your bank
FAQ
Can you connect a tool I already use? Often, yes. Tell us what you use (CRM, accounting, a specific calendar) and we’ll integrate it where possible.
Do I get logins to all these tools? Where the account is yours (Google, payments, social), yes, it’s in your name and you own it. We manage the technical connection.
What if an integration breaks? We monitor and fix it, keeping everything working is part of the managed service, see Support & response times.
Is there an extra cost for integrations? Setup and management are included. Some third-party tools charge their own fees (e.g. payment processing), which we’ll always flag.
Integrations are the glue. Each connected tool has its own guide, linked in the table above.
